'Oh, You Pretty Things' in progress

Here are a few shots of a large etching plate in progress. Begun in November 2013, it should turn a page in my new work, I hope.

The first drawing layer on the plate; a moon and some marionette ladies.

An early proof of the moon portion of the plate.

I use prior proofs of the plate to decide where to make changes on the copper, with scraping and burnishing.

Most recent proof. I'll cut the plate down the center line and one plate will become two!
